A Cambodian naval officer of the Royal Khmer Navy attends a ceremony here Dec. 13, marking the beginning of a humanitarian-assistance and disaster-relief exercise between the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and U.S. sailors and Marines. The Camp Pendleton, Calif., based 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit members deployed from San Diego Nov. 14 aboard USS Makin Island, USS New Orleans and USS Pearl Harbor and arrived in Southeastern Asia Dec. 11 as part of a regularly scheduled deployment.
