An AH-1Z Super Cobra with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 268 (Reinforced) flies to demonstrate the aircraft’s capabilities here Nov. 21. This was the first time the AH-1Z has been in Hawaii, which took off from USS Makin Island at sea during the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s first port visit during a seven-month deployment through the Western Pacific and Middle East regions. The squadron is the aviation combat element for the unit.
