Retired Colonel Mark Losak presents case studies to service members, including Marines from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and sailors with Amphibious Squadron 5, during a humanitarian aid and disaster relief course provided by Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific here April 19. The two-day course focuses on issues for Navy and Marine Corps staffs to consider while drafting plans to provide relief and supplies during a disaster. The 11th MEU and PHIBRON 5 will be deploying together through the Western Pacific and Middle East regions this fall.
