Sgt. Yoshinori Kishimoto, a reconnaissance soldier with the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force, Western Army Infantry Regiment, examines a tripod made by 1st Reconnaissance Battalion Marines to stabilize their rifle during an Exercise Iron Fist training evolution here Feb. 14-15. Iron Fist, a bilateral exercise, focuses on improving amphibious capabilities and interoperability between the two services.
