CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeremy L. Young, from Gilbert, Ariz., instructs Marines on treating and transporting casualties here July 22. The lesson was given to Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s command element while pausing during an eight-mile hike. Young, a hospital corpsman, showed Marines how to move a casualty onto a stretcher, which the Marines did, along with running the casualty onto a CH-46 helicopter as part of the training.
