Pfc. Richard Dauler, a Marine with Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducts a patrol during an exercise here Oct. 19. The MEU members learned jungle patrolling techniques from Australian soldiers attached to the International Stabilization Force (ISF). The Marines trained with members of the Timor Leste Defense Force and the Australian Army during an exercise focused on promoting theater cooperation through civic action projects and military interaction
