FOAMMULAH ATOLL, Maldives (Dec. 20, 2007) ? Cpl. Eleazar Zamano, ambulance driver, from Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), Camp Pendleton, Calif., acts as a mock patient for a Maldives National Defence Force medic during a combat lifesavers course here. Members of the MEU medical team trained 108 Maldivian medical personnel in advanced trauma and advance cardiac life support and 15 MNDF medics from Dec. 12-20 here. MEU Medical personnel also provided medical and dental treatment for hundreds of residents of Foammulah.
