Marines and sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit quickly pull casualties to safety after being ambushed during a convoy exercise July 23, at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona. The Marines and sailors had to react to a mass casualty event and successfully recover all injured U.S. personnel and civilians. The realistic pre deployment training was focused on building the confidence and abilities of the Marines and sailors of the unit before they deploy later this year.
