CAMP BEUHRING, Kuwait (May 31, 2006) ? Master Chief Michael J. Smith, medical planner, Command Element, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, (Special Operations Capable) Camp Pendleton, Calif., demonstrates how to properly apply a field dressing to the Marines of the MEU?s High Risk Personnel Protection Platoon during a combat lifesavers course here. The Marines and sailors of the 11th MEU (SOC) are currently deployed to the Middle East in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
