United Arab Emirates (March 19, 2017) U.S. Marine Cpl. Jesus Oliveros, a legal clerk with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), poses for a picture while holding a falcon as part of a Sunset Safari tour during the 11th MEU’s port visit to United Arab Emirates, March 19. Port calls are a unique experience for Marines because they provide an opportunity for Marines to immerse themselves with a different culture while on deployment. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th MEU is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of regional security and stability. (U.S. Marine Corps by Lance Cpl.
