Sri Lanka and U.S. Marines Fast Rope Training

TRINCOMALEE, Sri Lanka (Nov. 23, 2016) Sri Lankan Navy Special Boat Squadron Sailors fast rope out of a UH-1Y Huey helicopter during a Theater Security Cooperation engagement at Sri Lanka Naval Base, Trincomalee, Nov. 23, 2016. The SBS Sailors conducted multiple fast rope repetitions during the training exercise. The Marines and Sailors of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting the exchange with Sri Lankan forces to enhance tactical skillsets and disaster relief capabilities while strengthening the overall relationship between the two militaries.
