MEUCAX enables Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 4th Marines to refine their offensive and defensive tactics at the company and battalion levels. The culminating event will involve a battalion ground offensive in coordination with Marine aviation close-air support. MEUCAX is conducted to maintain a high level of combat readiness prior to the MEU’s Western Pacific 16-2 deployment later this year.
