FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, California (September 17, 2016) – Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to advance from behind tree-line concealment during a long-range raid conducted in Fort Hunter Liggett, California, September 17, 2016. As part of the long-range raid, the BLT launched from the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) off the coast of Southern California and flew more than 225 miles to the objective area.
