A Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldier sites in on a target at an unknown distance range aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Calif., Jan 28, 2016. The JGSDF soldiers were training with instructors from 1st Marine Divisions Pre-Scout Sniper Course as a part of Exercise Iron Fist, an annual bilateral training exercise designed to improve the U.S. and Japan’s bilateral amphibious operation capabilities.
