U.S. Marine SSgt. John Logan, MV-22 Osprey Crew Chief, helps give measurements of the MV-22 Osprey to Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) soldiers during Exercise Iron Fist 2016 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 26. Since 2006, Exercise Iron Fist has enabled Japanese soldiers to train with U.S. Marines on American soil to improve the planning, communicating, and conducting of combined amphibious operations.
