Boatswain’s Mate Third Class Sam Harper, a landing signalman with the USS Comstock and a San Jose, California native, directs an MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), for takeoff from the ship, Sept. 28.
