U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Andrew S. DiMauro, a radio operator with the 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and a native of Burlington, Connecticut, passes a bag of mail during a replenishment-at-sea aboard the USS San Diego (LPD 22), Sept. 29. The 11th MEU is deployed with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout U.S. Central Command and the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
