A Marine with the Force Reconnaissance Detachment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, holds security on to the flight deck of the USS San Diego, Pacific Ocean, during fast-rope training, July 30, 2014. The 11th MEU and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group are deployed as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
