A Marine with the Force Reconnaissance Detachment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fires his M4 carbine during a close quarters tactics range on the flight deck of the USS San Diego as part of Certification Exercise (CERTEX), off the coast of Southern California, June 11, 2014. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th MEU and PHIBRON 5.
