Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, release the blade fold pins of an AH-1Z Cobra to enable the aircraft to be secured after landing for Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of San Diego, May 6, 2014. The 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5 team conduct COMPTUEX to hone mission essential tasks, execute specified MEU and ARG operations, and establish the foundation for a cohesive warfighting team for future exercises and operations.
