FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. - Marines with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a standard reconnaissance patrol using Light Armored Vehicles during Realistic Urban Training Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise (RUTMEUEX) 14-1 at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., March 22. 1st LAR drove three LAVs on different types of terrain including shallow rivers, mud patches and steep hills to give the drivers more experience driving in unfavorable conditions.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
