Sgt. Cory Bell, a training noncommissioned officer with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines receives a congratulatory handshake from Lt. Col. Coby Moran, the battalion’s commanding officer after being presented with a highly-regarded military decoration aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif. Feb. 7. Bell was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds he received during combat action in Afghanistan the winter of 2010.
