CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Marines with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, now part of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, participate in taser familiarization and qualification as part of a non-lethal weapons course here Jan. 27. Marines must experience each nonlethal weapon first hand in order to use the nonlethal tools utilized by the Marine Corps. The first part of familiarizing Marines with the taser was to be shot with the taser under controlled conditions.
