Marines reach for stars during sea deployment

Marines from engineer platoon, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, (Special Operations Capable) Camp Pendleton, Calif., cap off a morning workout with a seemingly endless set of "star jumpers" aboard the USS Peleliu March 8.  During the grueling star climbers, Marines must bend down and touch the deck with their hands, then jump in the air and reach for the stars. The Marines and sailors of the 11th MEU (SOC) are on a six-month deployment through the Western Pacific Ocean and Arabian Gulf in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
