The USS San Diego leads the way during a straits transit exercise during Amphibious Squadron Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration Training (PMINT) off the coast of San Diego, April 17, 2014. PMINT is conducted by the 11th MEU and the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and is the first opportunity for the MEU/ARG team to exercise its planning processes and execute sea-based operations at sea.
