The Maritime Raid Force trained 40 Sri Lankan SBS Sailors on how to fast rope out of a helicopter or from a static tower. Both the United States and Sri Lanka have a continuing interest in strengthening their partnership based on common interests related to maritime security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness, and the security and stability in the region.
